One entrance to Diagon Alley can be reached on foot by passing through The Leaky Cauldron. The inn, invisible to Muggles, lies somewhere along the London thoroughfare Charing Cross Road. To reach Diagon Alley, one must walk up to a wall behind The Leaky Cauldron, and tap a brick, found by counting three up and two across, three times.

Leading off of the more savoury Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley is a dark and seedy alleyway in London to which muggles have no access, and which is frequented largely by Dark Wizards. Many of the shops in Knockturn Alley are devoted to the Dark Arts; the most notable is Borgin & Burkes, which sells sinister and dangerous objects.
The long-time residence of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, it is tucked away in northwestern London. It is hidden to the Muggle eye, visible to Wizards and witches alike, and inhabited by those only of the purest of blood.
Located in West Country, Godric's Hollow has been home to notable witches and wizards for over a thousand years. It was the birthplace of Godric Gryffindor, the home of the Peverells and of course, is the current residence of Lily and James Potter.
Situated along the River Otter in Devon, Ottery St. Catchpole is a small Muggle town that is also a prominent settlement for wizarding families such as the Weasleys, the Prewetts, the Lovegoods and the Diggorys.
Little Hangleton. For many generations it was the home of the once-affluent Gaunt Family, feared and respected because they carried the blood of Salazar Slytherin. It was also was the home of Tom Riddle, the unloving, Muggle father of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Underneath its rural, pastoral appearance, it is a place that storied with sinister myth and legends.
You could even go as far as saying that Little Hangleton was where it all began.
